Our Straps have been named after Tors on Dartmoor, which is the inspirational backdrop to our workshop here in Devon. Tors are the distinctive peaks and rocky outcrops found all over Dartmoor, with Stannon Tor located north of Postbridge in the heart of Dartmoor.
All of our products are handmade by us. We only use bona fide, full-grain leather – which means, amongst other things, that the hides contain natural creasing and markings that the cow gained over its life. It adds great depth and character to the products and, as a result, makes each item unique.

Lead Times
As our products are handmade to order, we quote for 10 working days to cover ourselves during busier periods, don’t forget there are only 3 of us! Having said that we often complete orders sooner than this and if you have a special date you need the product by then please get in touch and we can see if we can squeeze you in. The only exception to this is our Stock Straps and our Discounted products which are usually shipped within 48 working hours.
Shipping
We ship internationally and FedEx are our chosen parcel protectors. If you live within the United Kingdom then your postage cost is included in the product price. We use the services of the Royal Mail – Special Deliver and also Signed for – the latter can take up to 3 working days for items to be delivered. Our smaller items are also sent via Royal mail for cost reasons.
The shipping cost is automatically calculated at the checkout and depends on the weight of the products as well as your location. The location will also affect how long the products take to arrive on your doorstep, usually between 3-10 working days.
Payment
We use Sage-Pay and Paypal for our online payments. We only accept Visa Debit & Credit and MasterCard Debit & Credit.
We no longer accept Cheques (If you can remember what they are) and as much as we love being showered in hard currency, we don’t accept cash.

I recently purchased the Stannon Tor (SS) from Heistercamp, this being my second guitar strap from them. In comparison to my first order, the strap choice and order placement process was far easier and enjoyable due to the fact that I could actually see my strap, choice of colours, buckles etc., taking shape with every choice made on the new Heistercamp website – which is amazing to say the very least. Furthermore, Alaine, a woman of infinite charm, patience and taste, further enhanced the purchasing experience by recommending colour contrasts, strap widths and buckle finish based on her profound experience with Heistercamp guitars straps. Thank you Alaine. Delivery was swift, the strap nicely packed in a smart presentation box, Heistercamp bull key ring and a couple of company plectrums.
But enough of trinkets. The strap. Yes. Super soft indeed, supple, unprecedented quality leather and suede lining, fabulous workmanship. My Strat is wine red, so take Alaine’s word for it, Stannon Super Soft in burgundy, ochre suede lining and bronze fittings are a match made in heaven. Need a guitar strap ? You need not look any further. Heistercamp , only Heistercamp……

Exceptional strap!
I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship.
The Stannon Tor I ordered came already set to the length I requested and feels right from the first shouldering. The padding is very well chosen and executed.
This isn’t the first high quality strap I have purchased but it is the finest.

It’s been a couple of years since I needed a new strap, but when I did need one, there was no other choice for me than Heistercamp. The quality of the leather, the craftsmanship and the second to none customer service make Alaine, Nigel and the team the only choice for me. The strap I wanted wasn’t an off the shelf product, it was custom design based on a standard Stannon Tor. Although the options weren’t listed in the drop down boxes, this was not a problem. Just a quick note in the comments box when ordering and the strap was made to my existing requirements, and honestly is now the best one I own. Thanks guys, you keep raising the bar again and again.

This is the 2nd Stannon Tor guitar strap I’ve purchased and I absolutely love them. The leather is super high quality, as is the workmanship. I love the aesthetic too – vintage/traditional but understated. The option for having a 10mm strap hole is also super useful for anyone using strap locks (e.g. Schaller) that slot straight in! Beautifully made and presented, strap is fantastic. Excellent comfort and should last and wear well. Why hang a nice guitar on a cheap strap? I always play standing up and get quite picky about straps, I will definitely be getting another Heistercamp strap when I need my next strap.
