Our Straps have been named after Tors on Dartmoor, which is the inspirational backdrop to our workshop here in Devon. Tors are the distinctive peaks and rocky outcrops found all over Dartmoor, that have been around for millions of years. Top Tor is an easily accessible Tor in the east of Dartmoor overlooking plenty of other Tors similarly reachable.
All of our products are handmade by us. We only use bona fide, full-grain leather – which means, amongst other things, that the hides contain natural creasing and markings that the cow gained over its life. It adds great depth and character to the products and, as a result, makes each item unique.

Lead Times
As our products are handmade to order, we quote for 10 working days to cover ourselves during busier periods, don’t forget there are only 3 of us! Having said that we often complete orders sooner than this and if you have a special date you need the product by then please get in touch and we can see if we can squeeze you in. The only exception to this is our Stock Straps and our Discounted products which are usually shipped within 48 working hours.
Shipping
We ship internationally and FedEx are our chosen parcel protectors. If you live within the United Kingdom then your postage cost is included in the product price. We use the services of the Royal Mail – Special Deliver and also Signed for – the latter can take up to 3 working days for items to be delivered. Our smaller items are also sent via Royal mail for cost reasons.
The shipping cost is automatically calculated at the checkout and depends on the weight of the products as well as your location. The location will also affect how long the products take to arrive on your doorstep, usually between 3-10 working days.
Payment
We use Sage-Pay and Paypal for our online payments. We only accept Visa Debit & Credit and MasterCard Debit & Credit.
We no longer accept Cheques (If you can remember what they are) and as much as we love being showered in hard currency, we don’t accept cash.

Wow. This isn’t just the highest quality guitar strap I’ve ever owned, it may well be the highest quality ANYTHING I’ve ever owned! Premium quality materials and workmanship, beautifully packaged and presented. Customer service was top notch too, responding within minutes to a query regarding my order. I can’t praise Heistercamp highly enough for their product.

Absolutely fantastic! Needed a worthy and complimentary strap for my beloved AVRI 52 Telecaster, had heard a lot about Heistercamp and decided to give them a try, so glad I did!
Went with the Top Tor as I felt that it fit the aesthetic and looked in the style of the reissue straps that Fender used to supply with these guitars, however this is way more deluxe. Everything about it screams quality and care and it is obvious that this is a product that has been made by craftsmen and not just rolled off a production line.
The leather is so thick and is a beautiful shade and, by happy coincidence, the ochre-coloured suede lining is a fantastic match for the butterscotch finish of the guitar!
The presentation of the whole package was superb (never had a strap that came in a box before!) and it was great to be able to track the order process on the site.
The one downside to this purchase is that my other straps all seem a bit sad by comparison, I’m going to have to start replacing them with Heistercamp’s one-by-one!

The quality of these straps are second to none. The buckles are great quality, and the stitching is robust. The leather is amazing. I went with the 2 inch shoulder pad, which is very comfortable and the suede underside prevents the guitar from sliding around on your shoulder. They’re a little bit stiff at first, but after a month or two of use they really loosen up. I own 3 of the Top Tor straps now, and I’ll be buying another 2 for the rest of my guitars.
The team at Heistercamp are incredibly helpful, and even made my straps slightly longer than the XL size at no extra cost. I would highly recommend these straps.
