Our Straps have been named after Tors on Dartmoor, which is the inspirational backdrop to our workshop here in Devon. Tors are the distinctive peaks and rocky outcrops found all over Dartmoor. Bee Tor can be found north of Two Bridges near Wistman’s woods.

All of our products are handmade by us. We only use bona fide, full-grain leather – which means, amongst other things, that the hides contain natural creasing and markings that the cow gained over its life. It adds great depth and character to the products and, as a result, makes each item unique.

If you have any questions about our products please visit our FAQ. If you can’t find the answers you are looking for there then feel free to get in touch via our Contact Page.

Lead Times

As our products are handmade to order, we quote for 10 working days to cover ourselves during busier periods, don’t forget there are only 3 of us! Having said that we often complete orders sooner than this and if you have a special date you need the product by then please get in touch and we can see if we can squeeze you in. The only exception to this is our Stock Straps and our Discounted products which are usually shipped within 48 working hours.

We ship internationally and FedEx are our chosen parcel protectors. If you live within the United Kingdom then your postage cost is included in the product price. We use the services of the Royal Mail – Special Deliver and also Signed for – the latter can take up to 3 working days for items to be delivered. Our smaller items are also sent via Royal mail for cost reasons.

The shipping cost is automatically calculated at the checkout and depends on the weight of the products as well as your location. The location will also affect how long the products take to arrive on your doorstep, usually between 3-10 working days.

We use Sage-Pay and Paypal for our online payments. We only accept Visa Debit & Credit and MasterCard Debit & Credit.

We no longer accept Cheques (If you can remember what they are) and as much as we love being showered in hard currency, we don’t accept cash.

Many thanks for making this excellent strap for me so promptly. Can’t fault the quality and workmanship, and the packaging and presentation of the finished product tells me that you are passionate about what you do. The colour options and provision of straplock ready 10mm holes is a bonus. Will definitely purchase from you again in the near future. Quality! Cheers guys. Steve P.

Received my new Bee Tor yesterday. As usual, it’s superb! Fabulously comfortable and perfect for my new Lowden! This is my seventh purchase and probably won’t be the last. The service from the Heistercamp team ( Alaine, Nigel, James & Craig) was as brilliant as I’ve come to expect from them, I needed to amend my order after I sent it in on the website, and I simply picked up the phone, spoke to Alaine and it was sorted! They’re a great company to deal with and the products are the very best in quality, functionality and comfort. Thanks Guys.

Just received my new Bee Tor (destined for my ’64 Tele).
This is my 8th! (I think I’m developing some kind of fetish!!!)
Seriously though, these straps are the most comfortable, easiest to wear for long gigs especially. The workmanship is simply stunning and the look and feel fantastic!
The people at Heistercamp are superb to deal with and nothing is too much trouble.
Can’t recommend this company highly enough.
Thanks Alaine, Nigel, James and Craig.

I love this strap, the photos don’t do it justice. The leather has “that smell” as soon as you open the lovely box it comes in. It was a lot stiffer than I expected but 10 mins of manipulation and it softened beautifully, I can’t wait to use it at this weekend’s gigs.
I can’t find a single thing to moan about, either the strap or the guys who made it for me. My wife would say that’s a miracle ?
    Beautiful strap. Full Stop.

received this as a gift and could not be happier! It looks great and has fantastic quality. Superbly comfy to wear even with a 10lb Les Paul handing off it! Thanks to all at Heistercamp 🙂

Many thanks to Alaine, Nigel, James and Craig for, once again, making me a superb strap for my Fender Precision. As always, the quality is simply outstanding! And the service is just brilliant. Can’t praise you guys highly enough.

Thanks Alaine. Bee Tor (SS) is a chic guitar belt created by talented craftsmen, very comfortable made exactly according to my order, super-quality. A beautiful guitar strap, beautiful packaging and small bonuses, very nice. I’m saving up for the next guitar strap from Heistercamp.
    Best of luck to you.

My strap arrived a week ago, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It looks, feels and smells fantastic, and the fact that I was able to get it made to my specification was really nice.
The extra surprises in the package are a really nice touch, as was the handwritten note from the makers/owners.
Yes, Heistercamp straps cost more than a standard off-the-shelf one. But they’re well worth the money in my opinion.

Where do I start? This is my 3rd Heistercamp strap and they’re all a work of art. It’s premium quality with that personal handmade touch that really sets this apart from other straps. I won’t buy straps from anywhere else.
