Yes! We ship worldwide via FedEx and Royal Mail.

We like to quote ten working days for most of our goodies. And that applies for most of the year. Occasionally we might bump it up, like around Christmas when we’re about ready to pull our hair out and can’t physically bend over backwards anymore than we already are to ensure all of you guys have a happy festive period… and breathe.

For the absolute “as close to my optimum belt size as physically possible”, you should whip off your current belt (perhaps best done in private) and measure from the internal front edge of the buckle, down to the hole you use the most. As we make our belts with seven holes, your measurement will be used so that you buckle in the centre hole, giving you the opportunity to Indulge or discipline that waist line of yours by three Inches either way! However if you have somehow managed to never own a belt, or if you’ve chosen to gift our goodies to someone that must be pretty special to you, then all we need is a waist size taken from a well fitting pair of trousers and we will use our incredibly large brains to work out the right size for the belt.

The easiest way for us to make your strap the perfect length would be for you to measure an existing one. Set the strap to the length you would wear it and measure from the middle of the front buttonhole to the middle of the rear buttonhole. And that’s it. Lemon squeezy! Of course you might be buying this as a gift (excellent choice), or maybe it’s going to be your first ever strap (we are honoured), or maybe some tragic fate befell your last strap and you are in dire need of a replacement/upgrade (we are here to help)… whatever the reason you are left unable to measure an existing strap, have no fear! We have created a selection of common size ranges just for you! - Measuring an existing strap: The first number is the length of the strap when set in the middle of its available adjustment. The bracketed numbers show the range of length that is covered by the adjustment. - Common sizes: When deciding between XS, S, M, L or XL, you need to consider two factors: one being your height and girth, the other being where you like the guitar to hang as you strum. For example you might be of average height and play the guitar across your stomach, as such we would recommend the ‘M’ size. On the other hand, you might be a large human but like to rest your chin on the guitar as you play, so you might actually want to go for the ‘S’ size. If it helps, our product photos feature someone who is 5’10” and usually fairly slim... and he’s wearing a Medium. The bracketed numbers show the range of length that is covered in the strap’s adjustment.

It has been known, but only if we have the time. You would also need to bear in mind that custom items often carry a much heavier price tag.

You can ask, but its unlikely. We do sometimes offer discounts if we like your stuff and think we could work together, but its certainly not a guarantee.

Aside from their origins, pretty much everything! Pull-up is heavily infused with oils and wax, rendering it beautiful during its ageing process. The term "Pull-up" comes from what happens to its appearance when the leather is folded, twisted or pulled upon - as this causes a change in its hues due to the high oil content. Super Soft leather is slightly thinner, lighter, more pliable and more subtle in its ageing.

The short answer is: No, not currently. We’re an online business, which means that most of our human interaction comes in the form of our couriers! However, if you are unfathomably desperate to meet us in the flesh, we are known to exhibit at a couple of trade shows: The Guitar show in Birmingham and The Mansons Show Exeter when they can be bothered to put one on… (just kidding guys)

Why on Earth would you want to put yourself through that? Well you can if you’re sure… though we won’t take too kindly to surprise visits! Prior warning and agreed appointments are how we operate. Caution: Heistercamp staff spend long periods shut away in their workshop making wonderful things for others. As such, they can forget how to interact with other humans and appear cold. However, it has been found that bringing them sweet treats can thaw their hearts and remind them of their former humanity…

Hell yeah! What’s the point in being in the leather goods business without using the best we can get our hands on? There isn’t one. No synthetic imitators, 100% Bo-vine. We use full-grain leather which means that the hides contain natural creasing and markings that the cow gained over its life. It adds great depth and character to the products and, as a result, makes each item unique.

Umm lets see; one, two, three, ... oh, thats it. Yep just the three of us: Ma, Pa and one of their spawn!

Mainly the Royal Mail but If you live within the United Kingdom then your postage cost is included in the product price. We use either the Royal Mail special delivery service which is a next day delivery service or 1st Class Signed for, which can take between 1-3 working days. Delivering to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and some parts of Scotland can take up to 3 working days for items to be delivered. Our smaller items are also sent via Royal mail for cost reasons. The shipping cost automatically calculated at the checkout and depends on the weight of the products as well as your location. Your location will also affect how long the products take to arrive on your doorstep, usually between 3-10 working days.

Most of them do, even if it’s a trace amount… If you’re after a belt, all we can currently offer is one of our solid brass buckles used on our Traditional range. That has to be the brass finish, mind you, the silver contains nickel… If you’re concerned about an allergy and want to discuss it further, please do contact us.

We absolutely do! We believe in our products and therefore offer a lifetime repair guarantee with all our leather goods. In the extremely rare chance of a manufacturing fault, we will repair or replace free of charge. This does not, however, cover aesthetic changes such as discolouration, scratches, markings, shrinkage or stretching and of course the normal wear and tear.

Haha good one! Why would anyone want to- oh it’s a genuine question? Well, in the unlikely event where something is faulty with the product or not to specifications upon arrival, then of course we do because that’s on us. However, our products are bespoke and handmade to order, so if we’ve made it according to your requests, we’re afraid we cannot take them back, particularly if you’ve had them personalised because what are the chances of finding someone else that wants the exact product you ordered that also has the same initials as you…? We also can’t be held responsible for general wear and tear and how you treat our products over time either… If you don’t want to look after them then we don’t want to pay to replace them – simples.

Most guitars will be the standard 8mm but we also see our fair share of 6mm, which is why we offer it as a regular option. We also offer 10mm holes to fit Dunlop and Schaller strap locks. Our electric acoustic option covers those who have a jack input in the rear button, by having a 8mm hole at the front of the strap and a 10mm at the rear. Every so often we come across a guitar or button manufacturer that thinks it’s cool to break the mould and inconvenience everyone… in that instance, we try our best to be accommodating but it might just mean that you need to send us a little request first.

Ah, you have a keen eye and aren’t afraid to ask the real questions friend. If only more people were like you. Unfortunately, a lot of people can’t see the benefit of investing in a product anymore, seeking instead to save those extra pennies by grabbing something designed to fall apart. On the other end of the spectrum, there are those companies that love to squeeze as much as they can out of their customers. They justify this, in their minds, by sticking their brand name on the product… We try to sit ourselves in the middle somewhere. We use the best materials we can and we take the time to handcraft our products, so the price has to reflect this. At the same time, we like customers to come back time and time again and we prefer not to rip people off!
